Security
Hacked or infected site, cleaned properly
A defaced page, a blacklist warning, or a site quietly serving spam to your visitors, we find every piece of malicious code, remove it, and close the hole it came through.
Malware Removal & Hack Cleanup covers a full scan of your site's files and database, removal of every malicious file or injected script we find, blacklist removal requests where needed, and security hardening afterward so the same vulnerability can't be used again.
What's included
Everything included
Full file and database scan
Every file and database table checked, not just the obvious ones attackers usually hide code in.
Complete removal
Malicious code, backdoors, and injected content removed entirely, not just the symptom you noticed.
Blacklist removal help
If Google or your browser is showing warnings, we help submit for review once the site is clean.
Hardening afterward
We close the actual vulnerability used to get in, so cleanup isn't undone by the same hole a week later.
Questions
Common questions
How do I know if my site is actually hacked?
Common signs are a Google "this site may be hacked" warning, unexpected redirects, spam content in search results, or your host suspending the account. If you're not sure, send us the URL and we'll check.
Will you remove Google's blacklist warning?
We clean the site and submit it for review through Google Search Console. Google controls the timeline for lifting the warning, usually a few days once the review passes.
What if it gets hacked again?
That usually means the entry point wasn't fully closed. Our cleanup includes hardening specifically to prevent that, and our maintenance plans on the pricing page include ongoing monitoring.
Do you work on non-WordPress sites too?
Most of our cleanup work is WordPress, since it's the most commonly targeted, but tell us your platform and we'll confirm.
